The Creative Thinking module is aiming to equip teachers & trainers with the essential tools on making creativity work for students.

 

Participants will be introduced to different ways of thinking using the concepts of creative problem solving models and how to allow for creativity within teams. At the same time, they will gain a deeper awareness of, and insights to, the current challenges which face them as educators.

 

Participants will pick up useful techniques for nurturing both creativity and team building within their students. For example, they will learn how to assess the creative performance of students, use creativity-enhancing techniques with students, and design creative lesson plans for students.

 

Participants will also have the chance to observe how students can contribute to establishing a creative climate for learning, how their students can creatively solve problems and most importantly, how to go about dealing with challenges in their lives. 

Learning Objectives:

This course equips teachers with practical and easy to use tools to nurture creativity in the classroom. The course will provide a good interactive environment for the participants to learn, understand and get used to the application of the tools of creativity. At the end of the program the participants will be able to generate effective methods to nurture creativity in the classroom and build a cohesive synergistic team.
