Mr Caleb Tan

Caleb Tan obtained an MBA from the National University of Singapore after earning Upper Honours in BSc. He also graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Masters Degree in Mathematics. Even while he was a university student himself, he consistently demonstrated his exceptional skills in Mathematics. He is currently one of the Master Trainers at GIG Education Centre teaching Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainer

 

Ms Abigail Sassoon-Luscombe

(Part-time Associate Trainer for Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers & Trainers, COES - Public Speaking, Effective Teaching Methodologies)

Abigail Sassoon-Luscombe is an accomplished and results driven professional trainer with 9 years progressive experience in counselling, training, presentation skills, facilitation and curriculum design. Her programs are noted for being fun, interactive, energizing and hands on. She holds a Bachelors degree in Literature and is a distinction holder of the Cambridge Diploma for Teachers and Trainers, making her one of the best associate CIDTT trainers in GIG Education Centre.

 

Ms Amelia Jaishree

For the past 6 years, Amelia Jaishree has been mentoring and training both aspiring and experienced teachers, tutors and trainers. She graduated from Queensland University of Technology (Australia) holding a BA in Creative Industries. She also holds a Diploma in Performance Studies (Drama) from Lasalle College of the Arts, the Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers (CIDTT) and recently completed her Certificate in Teaching Methodologies from College of Teachers, UK with full Distinction.

 

Ms Reetha B. Sturgess

(Part-time Associate Trainer for COES - Creative Writing, Public Speaking, Creative Thinking & Teambuilding, Communication In Style)

Reetha B. Sturgess holds a Master of Arts in Mass Communication (USA) and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Communication Studies. She has been an Enrichment Education Trainer for the past ten years. She has developed and taught enrichment courses in numerous primary and secondary schools. Courses include Creative Writing; Music and Movement; Speech Writing and Effective Presentation Skills; Speech and Drama; Storytelling; Poetry Appreciation; Expository Writing and Debating Skills; Choral Reading; and Writing Styles.

 

Ms Waheeda A. Gapar

(Part-time Associate Trainer for Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers & Trainers, TESOL, COES - Creative Writing, Teaching Effective Grammar, Effective Teaching Methodologies)

Waheeda A. Gapar graduated from the National University of Singapore with an MA in English and a BA in English Language and Literature. She also holds a post graduate Diploma in Education from the National Institute of Education. With her wide range of experience in the educational arena she has worked and taught in the contexts of secondary school, community organization, polytechnic, universities and private institutes. She is currently a part-time Lecturer at NUS, NIE and UNISIM.

 

Ms Amy Krygsman

(Part-time Associate Trainer for COES - Music & Movement)

Amy Krygsman has a Teachers Diploma in Classical Ballet from Commonwealth Society Teachers of Dance Australia and is also a member of Australian Teachers of Dance. She also earned her Graduate Diploma of Social Science (Professional Counselling Programme) accredited and awarded by the Swinburne University of Technology. In addition, she possesses a Certificate in Latin Dancesport awarded by The International Society of Teachers of Dance and a Certificate in Speech & Drama from College of Teachers, UK.

 

Ms Shalaka Ranadive

(Part-time Associate Trainer for COES - Speech & Drama)

Shalaka Ranadive has 15 years of experience in the performing arts. She has conducted numerous Speech and Drama workshops for school children, teenagers and adults both in London and in Singapore. She is the Director of Drama in IPTA, one of the prestigious Speech and Drama Centres in London UK. Holding a degree in Fine Arts and a Certificate in Speech and Drama by the College of Teachers, UK. Shalaka is also the Principal Drama Teacher at the Singapore Arts House, sponsored by the Business Times.

 

Ms Chelsia Lim

(Part-time Associate Trainer for Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers & Trainers, TESOL, COES - Creative Writing, Teaching Effective Grammar, Effective Teaching Methodologies)

Having more than 8 years of secondary school teaching under the Ministry of Education, Chelsia Lim graduated from the National University of Singapore where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in English Language and Sociology. She also obtained her Postgraduate Diploma in Education at the National Institute of Education specializing in teaching English Language and Mathematics.

 

Ms Tina Safari

For the past 10 years, Tina Safari has been coaching, mentoring and training aspiring and experienced teachers, tutors and trainers. She graduated from Nanyang Technological University and National Institute of Education. She also holds a BA in English Language and Drama & Performance along with Certificates in Phonics, Creative Writing, Speech and Drama, Music & Movement and Public Speaking from College of Teachers, UK.

 

Mr Andy Yam

With his 8 strong years of experience in marketing and sales, Andy Yam uses unique and state-of-the-art techniques in "Selling Yourself" effectively to a group of audience. A qualified Public Speaking Instructor, he earned his Certificate of Educational Studies in Public Speaking from College of Teachers, UK. He has also completed his Diploma in Marketing from LCCI UK. His entrepreneurial experiences in business and education industries inspired him to become a Professional Emcee and Speaker at wedding dinners and various events, which he has been doing for more than 7 years now. All these experiences and expertise culminated in 100% growth rate for the 3 Education Businesses he currently owns.

 

Mr Rafiq Khader

Rafiq Khader holds a Masters in Science in Computer Assisted Language Learning from UMIST, Manchester and a Bachelor of Arts in National University of Singapore. He also earned both his Diploma in Applied Linguistics and Certificate in TESOL from the Regional Language Centre, Singapore. He possesses special skills in syllabus and curriculum development on Oral Presentation, Report Writing and Basic English communicative course for foreign students.

 

Ms Felicia Chua

(Part-time Associate Trainer for Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers & Trainers, TESOL, COES – Phonics, Speech & Drama, Creative Writing, Public Speaking, Phonetics, Teaching Effective Grammar, Effective Teaching Methodologies, Communication In Style)

Felicia Chua was the General Education Officer in the Ministry of Education training fellow teachers, developing lesson resources and organising both local and overseas integrated learning programs. She earned her Bachelor of Arts with Merits in Theatre Studies and Geography in National University in Singapore.

 

Ms Averyl Orejola

(Full-time Tutor for Diploma of Educational Studies)

Earning both her Bachelor Degree in Management and Masters in Management at University of the Philippines as a scholar, Averyl Orejola was initially a full time academic researcher for 7 years. Currently, she is pursuing the Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers accredited by Cambridge International Examinations.

 

Mr Phillip Tan

(Part-time Associate Trainer for COES - Phonetics)

As a senior level management staff at several listed blue-chipped MNCs prior to his career makeover as a Academic Lecturer, Phillip Tan has more than 10 years of experience training and facilitating in the area of Phonetics and Phonology to educational and corporate clients. He holds the BSc Estates Management from the Singapore University.

 

Ms Catherine Anthony Makil

(Part-time Associate Trainer for Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers & Trainers, COES - Effective Teaching Methodologies, Creative Thinking & Teambuilding)

A Certified Trainer in 7 Habits of Effective People, Catherine Makil holds a Bachelor in Business Administration (Marketing) and a Diploma in Management Studies. She has also obtained a Specialist Diploma in Counselling Psychology and the Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers. She is currently pursuing the ACTA and Diploma in TESOL.

 

Ms Sandra Tan

(Part-time Associate Trainer for Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers & Trainers, COES - Effective Teaching Methodologies)

Sandra Tan’s wealth of experience in the areas of Public Relations and Marketing culminated in her serving as the Corporate Communications Manager with Nanyang Polytechnic for 8 years. She now brings her extensive knowledge into her classrooms where she lectures in Communication and Marketing related subjects. She also shares her expertise when she trains new teachers. Sandra holds a BA in Public Relations from RMIT, a Diploma in Communications and a Certificate in Education from then Institute of Education.
