Mr Adrian Choo
(Associate Trainer for CoPP – Curriculum Development and Instruction, Harnessing Innovation and Entrepreneurship)

Mr Adrian Choo holds a Bachelor in Business Administration; Specialist Diploma in Educational Psychology; Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) and Certificate in Dyslexia Studies and Learning Disabilities. He is the director of Able-Lab and Right on Track, and advisor of Social Enterprise. He was the principal of Boys’ Town Alternative Schooling.  With his extensive training experience in both corporate and community levels in Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan; and under President of Singapore Psychological Association, he was appointed the principal trainer in a brain-training centre of SPA. He designed over 20 games at a span of four years. These games were sold to companies, used by non-profit organisations to engage stakeholders or played by below-average income families and children in neighbourhood schools and Residents’ Corner (RC) centres.

Over the years, Adrian has been invited as a guest speaker to conduct parenting talks in various schools, organisations, offices and churches.

 


Ms Abigail Sassoon-Luscombe
(Part-time Associate Trainer for Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers & Trainers, CoPP – Public Speaking, Effective Teaching Methodologies)

Ms Abigail Sassoon-Luscombe is an accomplished and results driven professional trainer with 9 years progressive experience in counselling, training, presentation skills, facilitation and curriculum design. Her programs are noted for being fun, interactive, energizing and hands on. She holds a Bachelors degree in Literature from the University of Bombay and is a distinction holder of the Cambridge Diploma for Teachers and Trainers, making her one of the best associate CIDTT trainers in GIG Education Centre.


Ms Jaishree Amelia Gopal
(Associate Trainer for Diploma of Educational Studies – Speech and Drama and Phonics & Early Literacy; CoPP- Phonics, Speech Development & Creative Drama, Speech & Drama in Action and Drama in Education; and Preparatory Course for Diploma in TESOL)

For the past 9 years to date, Ms Jaishree Amelia Gopal has consistently mentored and trained aspiring and experienced teachers, tutors and trainers as well as taught young adults in most prestigious schools in Singapore. She graduated from Queensland University of Technology in Australia holding a BA in Creative Industries. She also earned her Diploma in Performance Studies (Drama) from Lasalle College of the Arts, the Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers (CIDTT) from Cambridge International Examinations, UK, Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA), Singapore and Certificate in Teaching Methodologies from College of Teachers, UK.


Ms Waheeda Bte A. Gapar
(Part-time Associate Trainer for Cambridge International Certificate for Teaching & Learning, TESOL, CoPP – Creative Writing, Teaching Effective Grammar, Effective Teaching Methodologies)

Ms Waheeda Bte A. Gapar graduated from the National University of Singapore with an MA in English and a BA in English Language and Literature. She also holds a post graduate Diploma in Education from the National Institute of Education. With her wide range of experience in the educational arena she has worked and taught in the contexts of secondary school, community organization, polytechnic, universities and private institutes. She is currently a part-time Lecturer at NUS, NIE and UNISIM.


Ms Sutinah Bte Safari

For the past 15 years, Ms Sutinah Bte Safari has been coaching, mentoring and training aspiring and experienced teachers, tutors and trainers. She graduated from Nanyang Technological University and National Institute of Education with a BA in English Language and Drama & Performance and a Diploma in Education. A firm believer in lifelong learning, she achieved Distinctions for the Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers (CIE) and the Diploma In Tesol along with Certificates in Phonics, Creative Writing, Speech and Drama, Music & Movement and Public Speaking from College of Teachers, UK.


Mr Yam Teck Wing
(Master Trainer for CoPP- Public Speaking)

With his 15 strong years of experience in marketing and sales, Mr Yam Teck Wing uses unique and state-of-the-art techniques in “Selling Yourself” effectively to a group of audience. A qualified Public Speaking Master Instructor, he earned his Certificate of Educational Studies in Public Speaking from College of Teachers, UK. He has the Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers, from Cambridge International Examinations as well as Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment from WDA. He has also completed his Diploma in Marketing from LCCI UK and a Business Degree majoring in English Communication. His entrepreneurial experiences in business and education industries inspired him to become a Professional Emcee and Speaker at wedding dinners and various events, which he has been doing for more than 10 years now. All these experiences and expertise culminated in 100% growth rate for the 3 Education Businesses he currently owns.


Mr Rafiq Khader
(Part-time Associate Trainer for TESOL, CoPP – Phonics, Creative Writing, Phonetics, Teaching Effective Grammar, Effective Teaching Methodologies, Communication In Style)

Mr Rafiq Khader holds a Masters in Science in Computer Assisted Language Learning from UMIST, Manchester and a Bachelor of Arts in National University of Singapore. He also earned both his Diploma in Applied Linguistics and Certificate in TESOL from the Regional Language Centre, Singapore. He possesses special skills in syllabus and curriculum development on Oral Presentation, Report Writing and Basic English communicative course for foreign students.


Ms Felicia Chua Hui Hsiang
(Part-time Associate Trainer for Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers & Trainers, TESOL, CoPP – Phonics, Speech Development & Creative Drama, Speech & Drama in Action, Drama in Education, Creative Writing, Public Speaking, Phonetics, Teaching Effective Grammar, Effective Teaching Methodologies, Communication In Style)

Ms Felicia Chua Hui Hsiang was the General Education Officer in the Ministry of Education training fellow teachers, developing lesson resources and organising both local and overseas integrated learning programs. She earned her Bachelor of Arts with Merits in Theatre Studies and Geography in National University in Singapore.

Ms Marivyl Averyl Marie Dasmarinas Orejola
(Full-time Tutor for Diploma of Educational Studies)

Earning both her Bachelor Degree in Management and Masters in Management at University of the Philippines as a scholar, Ms Marivyl Averyl Marie Dasmarinas Orejola was initially a full time academic researcher for 7 years. She has also completed her Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers awarded by Cambridge International Examinations.


Ms Catherine D/O Anthony Makil
(Part-time Associate Trainer for Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers & Trainers, CoPP – Effective Teaching Methodologies, Creative Thinking & Teambuilding)

A Certified Trainer in 7 Habits of Effective People, Ms Catherine D/O Anthony Makil holds a Bachelor in Business Administration (Marketing) from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and a Diploma in Management Studies from SIM. She has also obtained a Specialist Diploma in Counselling Psychology and the Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers. She is currently pursuing the ACTA and Diploma in Tesol.


Ms Esha Batish
(Part-time Trainer for CoPP – Teaching Effective Grammar, Creative Writing, Phonics, Phonetics and Phonology, Communication in Style, Speech Development and Creative Drama)

A trainer/facilitator with a high level of commitment towards students and the working environment, Ms Esha Batish completed her Cambridge International Diploma in Teaching Training (CIDTT) and Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). She has also achieved a Grade 7 in Speech and Drama Studies under Trinity College of Music, London. Esha is always driven by acquisition and application of knowledge and, satisfaction achieved from targeted outcomes having been met. Her deliverance of subject matter is always tailored to suit learner needs and learning modalities.


Mr Goh Yong Peng Eric
(Full time Associate Trainer for Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers & Trainers, Preparatory Course for Diploma in TESOL and CoPP – Creative Writing & Teaching Effective Grammar)

With a broad and extensive experience as the Head of Department for English Language and Subject Head for Aesthetics in a government school, Mr. Goh Yong Peng is a very engaging and motivating trainer conducting workshops to teachers and parents alike on literacy and assessment. He obtained his Post-Graduate Diploma in Education from National Institute of Education, Bachelor of Arts degree with Honours from National University of Singapore and Diploma in TESOL from London Teachers Training College, UK and recently completed Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA), Singapore. Eric is one of those very few who is able to fuse art and technology into his classroom activities with ease.


Ms Hazlina Bte A. Rahman
(Part-time Trainer for CoPP – Music & Movement)

For the past 17 years, Ms Hazlina Bte A. Rahman taught Music and Movement to children as young as 8 months and older. Also, Ms Huzzy, known to parents, students and colleagues, was actively working with Kindermusik Asia Pte Ltd organising events and conferences on creative movements and musicianship for 5 solid years. With her building experiences and opportunities she now has her own company, the Our Music Studio Pte Ltd. Running the centre as both director and educator, she facilitates and teaches 21 classes a week, writes and rewrites curriculum with team partners and teachers and regularly produces, composes and records thematic CDs for her music programmes. As a song writer and singer, Ms Huzzy also performs on stage and hosts events to date.

Hazlina Bte A Rahman got her formal education at Australian Catholic University in Orff, Level 1 & 2 in 2001 with a yearly attendance on professional development workshops also at Orff, Kodaly and Dalcroze. She additionally earned her Grade 5 Speech and Drama Certificate with Guildhall School of Music and Drama and completed her Certificate in Music and Movement, Creative Writing and Speech and Drama from the College of Teachers, UK with Merit and Distinctions.


Ms Jane Lau Chiew Jiuan
(Part-time Trainer for CoPP – Music & Movement)

Ms Jane Lau Chiew Jiuan earned her Bachelor of Classical Music with Honours from University College Sedaya International, Kuala Lumpur. In addition, she also took her Diploma and other Certifications in Piano Performance from London College of Music, Piano from The Royal Schools of Music, UK (ABRSM); Singing from London College of Music (LCM); Electronic Organ from London College of Music (LCM), and Level 1 Certification Orff Schulwerk from Western Australia Orff Schulwerk Association.

With a strong and evident background in singing and musicianship, Ms Jane is currently active in coordinating and mentoring teachers related to creative music education; facilitating workshops and events thru Kindermusik Asia, Singapore; and teaching babes, tots and kindergarten at Our Music Studio, Pte Ltd.

Ms Jane’s angelic voice can be heard in the Children’s Music and Movement thematic CD which she was one of the vocalists.


Ms Hasnah Bte A Rahman
(Part-time Trainer for CoPP – Phonics, Early Literacy & Reading Comprehension, Speech Development and Creative Drama and Music & Movement)

Ms Hasnah Bte A Rahman is ACTA certified and holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Positive Psychology. Over the years, she has earned her many Certificates in: Master Practitioner Neuro Linguistic Programming, Reiki Master, Consulting Hypnotist, High Impact Learning, Goulding Process Sleeptalk™, Diploma of Educational Studies, Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers, Music and Movement, Speech and Drama, Creative Writing, Time Line Therapy Practitioner, Yoga Therapy and Yogakids™. All these have led her to embark working with children as well as adults on holistic integration and brain compatible strategies starting from the early 90’s to date.

Mrs Has is also the Master Trainer & Founder of Positive Focus®; facilitator Fun Brain Compatible Strategies, Relaxation and Revolutionary holistic workshops; actress (a.k.a Miss Positive), host and consultant for Singapore’s first ever preschool educational series, CLUB M.A.G.I.C.

As a songwriter herself, she was an executive producer and singer for a children’s music and movement CD. She also reviewed a script for Playhouse Disney’s ‘Out and About’ series in 2002 and facilitated “The Energy Shake” Nickelodeon Worldwide participation dance and the 2005 Yogakids Holiday Programme on Gold 90.5 FM. She is currently pursuing the WSQ Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education.


Mr Caleb Tan
(Part-time Trainer for CIDTT)

Caleb Tan obtained an MBA from the National University of Singapore after earning Upper Honours in BSc. He alo graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Masters Degree in Mathematics. Even while he was a university student himself, he consistently demonstrated his exceptional skills in Mathematics. He is currently one of the Master Trainers at GIG Education Centre teaching Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainer


Ms Sonali Mehta
(Part-time Trainer for CoPP – Speech Development & Creative Drama, Speech and Drama in Action, Drama in Education, Creative Thinking and Teambuilding, Communication In Style and Public Speaking)

A published author and an experienced copywriter cum journalist, Sonali Mehta actively trains Public Speaking, Innovation Thinking, Communication Arts, Speech and Drama, Voice and presentation skills to companies, corporate agencies, international schools and enrichment centres. She has handled numerous drama programmes and workshops at Overseas Family School, SMActs Unlimited, First Steps enrichment centre and Lorna Whiston Speech and Drama Centre as well as choreographed dances at Jai Ho Concerts.

Sonali was also a freelance writer of the Bohemia and India Se magazines and the founder of SMActs, Unlimted.

She earned her Associate Teaching Diploma by Trinity Guildhall, Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment by Singapore Training and Development Association and Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers. Sonali also holds a Julia Gabriel Foundation Teaching Certificate.
